lol bob, I just noticed in the second pic that sps colony surrounded by xenia. im battling xenia like you, but you gotta help that acro out or the xenia will overtake it and shade it out. Ive gotten hundreds of dollars in store credit from bringing in xenia frags. just place a small piece of rubble rock next to it and it will grow on it.

Is that a cleaner shrimp in one of the pics; if so, does your fish go to it to be cleaned?
yes. the cleaner shrimp does clean them, especially the anthias. this pic below was taken 6 months ago. thanx for all the compliments btw. i hope this goes to show no fancy or expensive equipments r really needed to maintain a nice reef. the hob fuge was there to produce pods for my mandarin. the light is a nova pro 6x54w bought for $350 last novemeber. the octopus skimmer i bought 3 week ago. b4 that that, i had the prizm hob (dont recommend it at all, bc it hardly produce any foam). liverocks and flow r very important imo.

it is getting quite full. i am planning to frag some less light demanding corals to my fowlr. the blacksail blenny like to nip at one specific acro. so far, that acro is holding up ok.
