Pictures of Engeneer gobies.

Ok ive been considering getting an engeneer goby but ive never really seen them in a tank before. The only one ive seen is the one in the fish catagory on this site. So lets see `em. Also past experience information about them would be great.

couple things you should know about these fish,
they can get large
they dig tunnels under live rock(live rock should be placed before the sand goes in, so that way when they start to dig, the rocks wont cause a land slide.)
unless hungry, you'll only really see there heads.
i have two that are about a foot long each, had them for about 2 years now. very cool looking fish, and oh if you do purchase one. be prepared for everyone ((EVERYONE
)) to call them "eels"....
and for the less minded aquarium people will call them "snake thingies"
if your going reef and would like a couple of colorful fish, i would think about your selection, cause with bigger size comes bigger waste.again these fish do get large over time. im a fan of them, so your call...
hope i helped some, sorry for no pics. maxalmon has a pic of one, heres the link....

if you do get one make sure your live rock is flat on the bottom glass and not on top of the sand bc mine was smaller than the one in the picture about a year and a half ago now it is almost 13 inches he is a bull dozer loves to scoop up sand and rearrange it all over the tank one day there will be a 6 inch hill of sand on one side and the next day it will be on the other side in the back corner he is just a live excavator

I love mine. When I set up my tank, I made a couple of squares out of pvc and put my rock on top of that. It gives mine a nice place to live and dosent move my rock around.
I will look for a picture.
