I built it - but no written plans.
You can see photo's on my website, and I'd be glad to share any info I can.
If you have a 90 gallon All-Glass, I think it may be 4 inches taller than my 75.
But same length width of 48"x18"

Broomer..
Wonderful site, excellent craftsmanship on that hood...
Question: Do the fans push in to the canopy, or pull air out of the canopy?

Thank you Tang_man_Montreal
This was a first attempt at building a canopy - I will do several things differently when I build another one.
Both the fans are pulling air from within the enclosed hood, and blowing the air out the top. Cooler room temperature air is allowed to flow "in" through a large opening at the rear/bottom of the structure.

only thing i see that i would like diff from yours is a lip coming down over the top of the tank trim..from the pic it looks like yours is sitting on the top??MY-T-nice but iv had the overhang in my head for awhile

Broomer,
When you say that you'd do some things differently, What things are you talking about?
Maybe we could all learn from your experience.

I would like to have an easy way to raise and lower the entire lighting fixture(s) inside the canopy.
Fixtures mounted to a rack or support that could be positioned closer to or farther from the water surface.
Sort of like a "sliding" rack that would hold the lamps - and be easy to move up and down "inside" the canopy.
Move them up and out of the way when I reach in and work on the tank ~ then when done working inside the tank, move them back down to the normal lighting position height.
That's one thing I will do differently.
Other than that - I'm pretty happy with the outcome ;)

Hiya DVS!
Well actually what I was going to was have on coming out from the wall behind it, suspended by brackets as a bow front would be a nightmare!
