Pictures of my Aiptasia and a Question

Here are 2 pics, first is the big guy, and 2nd is what I think are baby aiptasia. Am I right? I have been told that injecting them with boiling hot water will kill them, is that true? What about just pulling them out? And how fast do they really spread?
Thanks and sorry if these are repeat questions, I'm a newbie here.

2nd pict looks like a type of manjo

and if it is, i would get it out of there as well.
also you dont want to pull the aiptasia up at the roots. if you do that you wont get all the aiptasia and tissue left will result in many more of them. best way to get rid of aiptasia is joes juice. never tried boiling water but heard it works. or the way i did it was bought 2 pep shrimp and that worked the best for me. plus they are fun to watch and they just love to attack my hand when i am in the tank feeding the corals. feels kinda wierd but its fun to be able to "play with them"

I THINK they are called majano but I am not sure. They are just as big a pest as Aiptasia, they will take take over a tank as well.

After I set up my JBJ 28, I had a real problem with aptasia, Joe's juice did not work, they would just regenerate in a short time and I would have more then I started with. Bought some pepperment shrimp, but they were actual camel shrimp and the problem continued. Finally got 5 pepperment shrimp and did not feed the tank for two days, within the week the aptasia were gone, I use them in my refugium, and my 24 gal Aquapod with good results. Give it a try. Good luck, aptasia are a pain in the #####.
