This is my 72 G bow front tank. It has been up for almost 3 months. What do you think? So far I have 60lbs of live rock, LS, 1 hippo tang, cleaner shrimp, snails and crabs, carpet anemone, Florida Condi Anemone, and Goniopora coral (I think thats what its called.) My lighting: Two 65 watt 10,000K and two 65 watt True Actinic, and Four 3/4 watt Lunar Blue-Moon-Glow LED lamps. and a proetin skimmer. I painted the back black since it is in front of a window to help with lighting. I love the way it looks. Well, I think thats it. Enjoy!! I would love your comments and suggestions! :cheer:

Very nice work over the past few months

It doesn't say on your thread where you are from, so I'll throw this in; make sure your tank can handle the temp fluctuations of season changes being right infront of your window. Mine is 2 feet from my living room wimdow,so I'm already wondering about whats going to happen when the temp starts to drop.
Happy Reefing!

Zanski, I bought all of my live stock (fish, anemones, snails, crabs) from SWF.com. There is a great LFS called Cappuccino Bay Aquarium, it is off roswell road. I got my live rock and RO water from there. They have beautiful tanks and seems to give great advice... so far. They have a web site as well. I plan of buying most of my live stock from SWF.com, though. You cannot beat there guarantee, and there stuff is beautiful.

Love the tank!!! Hubby and I want our glass to stay clear... how is it that you do that? i have seen some that are covered in algea. Do you clean it all the time? I dont even think twice about the cleaning of the tank so doesnt bother me in the least to do the extra.

I clean it with the magnet as needed. I hate spots. But I have several turbo snails that do it for me, too! Thanks for all the compliments!!! It makes me feel like I am headed on the right track with my tank. She is my baby!!! :cheer:

Great! I was scared to order online stuff but ill give it a shot. Yeah I go to cappuccino bay as well. There is another one not too far that has great fish. Go down roswell to johnson's ferry and go right. The store is on the right, Marine Fish. Check it out also.! Are you part of the Atlanta Reef Club??
