I've raised him since hes been about 8 inches(hes about 2 1/2). He can be a grumpy s.o.b. but he is handle able...if thats the word for it.... But when he is in his cage that's his domain. Handbuilt his cage (needs a bigger one, soon to be an 8x6 box, about the size of a queen bed, and eventually devote a room). He is about 3 ft. I also have dogs. 1 pitbull & 1 pomeranian, looking at buying a new pup too. Turtle, Piranha, Oscars. Want a cat kinda sorta...like a really fuzzy cat would be cool, but I think my dog would abuse it. haha!
oh...I get that response a lot... haha

Why not try a blenny? I have a lawnmower and a scooter, they are pretty neat and clean your tank! Urchins are neat for smaller tanks too, or any tank for that matter....
Do you have any starfish or any other inverts?

Yeah, I was thinking the lawnmower would be my next choice. I currently dont have any startfish but I do have emarld crabs and hermit crabs. along with shrimps and sea hare.

Ya I saw some of that stuff in your tank. Couldn't see everything though. I really like my blennies they have a lot of personality.
I tried emerald crabs previously, but haven't had success with ones from lfs. I have recently stopped shopping their due to their lack in quality tropical fish. Might as well order them offline, where I at least get a 15 day guarantee.
How are your? Do they molt? Mine would never molt and eventually would just be upside down dead one day.

My crabs molt, but a few of them died. I have like 3 left that are doing good. Isnt it funny that a LFS only offers 72 hr guarantee on their fish but SWF.com offers 15 DAYS!!! That says something about their confidence in the quality of fish they sell.

I just did a routine clean up for my tank. Cleaned out filter, protien skimmer, and scrapped the back walls. Also cleaned the hoses on the filter. Heres a video of the tank after cleaning....looks real clean and clear. Well in person that is because I don't have an HD camera lol.

HAHAHHA! 72 hours is awesome compared to my LFS. zero guarantee on any livestock! I went back b*tchin up a storm and finally got them to give me half off a new one of the same fish that died within 12 hours (fish was a baby and was beat up looking, but at the fish store their lights weren't working so you couldn't see how bad it looked til I got it home). Again why I stopped shopping there. WORTHLESS!

I think you are off to a good start
. I have a few suggestions on fish. This is subject to my own opinion, but hey, maybe you might like them too.
Blue Reef Chromis:
https://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11...ot_parent_id=4
or
Green Chromis:
https://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11...ot_parent_id=4
I would get a group of 3 of either. They are a pretty active fish, and they actually help shy fish come out and swim around. They learned I am their food source and I can hand feed them (as well as most of my others except my Kole Tang...he is really shy). Most of my fish are still from my first 3 tanks I setup (now they are consolidated into my 125g), and I never was able to hand feed them till I introduced the green chromises. I can't say much about the blue reefs, because I don't have them, but I plan on getting some soon. Nother note on the greens, depending on how the lights hit them they fluctuate between green, and a really nice blue as they swim, which is why they more often than not are called blue-green chromis.
Firefish:
https://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11...ot_parent_id=4
Seems these guys are almost a staple of any starter tank (besides damsels
). Attractive, active (well mine is) and pretty durable. If you want something a little different you can get a Purple Firefish.
Purple Firefish:

Six-line Wrasse:
https://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11...ot_parent_id=4
Goofy little fish and fun to watch. Pretty hardy and prone to eating pests in your aquarium (though there is no promises they will
).They have some wonderful colors and generally are just neat.
Last suggestion is a couple Banggai Cardinal fish:
https://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11...ot_parent_id=4
Another pretty active fish from the ones I have seen....Though some will probably disagree. I want to get a couple in my 125g now, because I actually lost a pair when I fisrt started the hobby (over night shipping didnt work so well). They lasted about 24 hours. I never got a new pair because I filled up the tank with other stuff, and decided to wait till I got a new aquarium.
Hope that helps out and welcome to the addiction
.
