Pink Coral?

hola friends

i just got my new cool lights.....130 watts of pc, and am now in search of coral. i want some really cool colors, like some nice bright pink and some green
what do u suggest? i dont think i am stocked up for hard coral:notsure:
what about an open green brain?:thinking:

Yeah I think with that light you would do fine with a brain and some xenia or pink or green star polyps. If that light is for your 30 gallon.

zoo's are a great way to add color but with color comes a big price
i also like the yellow leather
green corals are very common

If you are looking to add some green coloration there are several corals that could fit right in...
maybe a light green colored euphyllia ancora

...if you can locate one that is healthy and shows no sign of tissue recession then maybe a fox would work....some are grenner than others...

...as mentioned GSP's would fit your request...some folks have them virtually overrunning their systems...mine are contained to a small colony and have never been a problem...

There are also numerous types of closed type brains that could provide the color you are looking for...this little maze brain for example...

Not a real bright green...but my short tentacle plate has been in my reef for well over two years now...and it is sort of greenish...

...and shrooms come in assorted green colorations!
As you can see the possibility of adding green is very diverse....

my colony of clove polyps have a very distinctive pink hue...not brilliant pink...but they are very interesting...

Its possible for a hydnophora to do well in your new lighting...they can be aggressive so they'd need room but they have a nice pink color...

...and there are several types of open brains that are pink...plus as mentioned numerous types of zoos and even several shrooms can be found that are pink....as you can see there are numerous corals that can be found in the green and pink colorations....show us pics of what you find to color up your display...:D

the pink bird's nest is a very pick coral!! But i tihnk u need to go w/ MH's in order to sustain one.. Just my thoughts..
