Summerfest? Do you know which stage he's on?
I saw Foo Fighters, Collective Soul, Steppenwolf, and REO Speedwagon there and the each stage was just jammed... I can't imagine what kind of crowd he's gonna draw.
Dang, now I wish I had decided to go up there in July like I USUALLY do instead of April this year.

Yes... certainly not like ... most ... of the music today is made. The industry has changed so much since they were in their heyday. Music meant something more to them (and many bands of the time) than just selling records, they were trying to be expressive... They really explored the genre.
Of course, now they seem to be more about bitterness at the unfortunate expense of their fans among others, but still...

I'm certainly not someone who feels that a music group somehow owes me, but as someone who is too young to have appreciated any of their shows, it sucks for me that I missed them.
Neither Waters' stuff nor Gilmour's is even half of what they produce when you put them together. I was hoping when Syd Barrett died that they'd put on a memorial tour or something like that, but no...

Oh at the Marcus... so you have to pay extra for the tickets. Well, it's probably sold out by now anyway.
I have a standing committment with a friend of mine that if we can get tickets, we'll fly to anywhere in the world to see the entire band play again.
I sure hope one day I get to.

Too much to quote...
No one mentioned 'the sound track to the movie more' (did a quick ...... search and came up light, could be off on that) anyway the name of the song is 'the gold it's in the..." GREAT stuff and probably the most unknown.
Never got into any ones solo stuff but I had an unedited album cover (yea vinyl) of Roger Waters 'The Pros and Cons of HitchHiking' (without the black bar)
My first band if you know what I mean, a life time ago. Paid $70 for scalped tickets to a reunion show in Toronto in the late 80's, couldn't make it, don't ask.
Brain Damage - Eclipse! Not tears exactly but every time I hear it I stop whatever I am doing and Listen.

i would have to say that the rarest and hardest to get floyd album is the soundtrack to Zabriskie Point. i have only heard one song on it, "Come in number 51 your time is up" and it was quite good. for being 16 i can fling some floyd facts too
