I have what looks like bubble algae, but the are a redish pink color. Has anyone ran into a different color than green?

I once let one of my tanks go for a while and ended growing some awesome looking pink and bright red algae. wish it was a good thing because it was very eye catching.

Yes there is red bubble algae. I have had it in my tank. A very invasive problem. Do a search on here on red bubble algae and get some ideas on how to take care of it. I ended up getting a foxface (they love the stuff), but that was one of the fish I was thinking about anyway. A very cool fish IMO and one of my favorite.

YEAH dont pop them cause they are filled with spores and the bubble you popped true it wont come back but all its offspring will pop up!!
