Pink Skunk Clown

Just thought I would share some photos of my new Pink Skunk Clown. She replaces my Maroon which I loved dearly but needed a much bigger home. The Skunk Clowns are not seen much so I wanted something different and find them just so pretty.

Awesome, I voted for the skunks! Love them but I can't ever find them up here and already have a maroon so I would have to set up another tank for them.

These photos don't really do the fish justice. but they are very neat and so pretty and different too.
Came home tonight and the fish, thank god is the only one in the tank is showing major ick. I am really ticked off now. So I have a small tank I use for this as I prefer to use ick medication and in she will go for treatment....

I also like skunks because they are a little less common, but not too difficult to obtain. My skunks have finally started spawning regularly.

Well sadly I no longer have a skunk clown.....

It died last night, the two skunks the LFS brought in were quite stressed at the store. So I took a gamble on this and it did not turn out. The other one died at the LFS too.
My water checks all fine thank goodness so I could get another fish or store credit.
So I decided to go with the good old Percula Clown, they are so adorable when this small. I only got the one but I feel so bad as I think it should have a friend???
Here is this tiny fish with these huge mushrooms and two anemones in a 10 gal tank with a shrimp.
Should I just keep the one or go tomorrow and get another one??
I don't want to cause chaos in the tank.

you probably should have let your water sit, d/t ich needing a carrier to survive in saltwater.
i like to buy my clown in pairs, that way the heirarchy is already established between the two.
I also have a pair of skunk clowns, they are cute but not my favorite. they are shy and nervous, and stick to the anemones.
My favorite clown has to be the clark. they tend to be abit boisterous, and come up to the front of the tank to check me out. and they are the largest of my clowns. they seem to be a bit more hardy.
