This has been on my rock for about 3 or 4 weeks. There are about 4 of them throughout my tank. Each one has a tiny thread-like thing hanging off the end of it. They are very small, about 1/16th of an inch. Any ideas?
Looks like a vermetid snail to me. When ever I find one in my tank I put a ball of super glue on the hole to kill him. They can repopulate quick and make a mess in a tank.
Wow learned something new today... just thought they were stationary little tube worms as I have a zillion baby feather dusters everywhere else I just grouped them in with them.
I like above they are harmless filter feeders except for cutting your hand should you run into them rearranging or cleaning.

Just regular super glue? Like from the hardware store?

Yes. The gel form works best. That is what almost all reefers use to glue corals down. Perfectly safe.
