Well I should kick myself for messing with something like this, but oh well. Yesterday I was at my LFS, and I asked about my soft corals and what additional care, if any, to give them.
So my guy tells me phytoplankton (phytoplex) and a little Iodide/Iodine, Kent Marine Tech 1 to be exact. So I add one cap full last night of Iodine (the bottle says 2 caps per 50gl, I have a 37) I wake up this morning to find my anenome really tiny and not moving hardly at all. I figured it was still early and he'd wake up more like he usually does.
Well I just get in from work to see him in the same condition when I left. VERY small. I've had this guy for about a month now and he's been thriving. Water params all look good. Was it the iodine that hurt him?
