What do you guys recommend for hand feeding these guys?

How long should it take for it to host a clown?

Are you talking about a condylactis sp? If so then maybe never as they are from the Atlantic and clownfish are from the Pacific. Its been known to happen though.

Oh and as far as hand feeding use a clean tank only turkey baster, if the meaty foods can fit in there then its about the right size to feed it. Use mysis shrimp, silversides, krill, formula 1. You can just lay the silverside right on the anemone if you like.

when you feed the pink hatian thingy do you need to chop up the krill finely or can you put a piece in the middle of him????

You can place the krill on the center portion of the anemone and hope that he can get it down in time before any fish or shrimp comes and steals it.

frozen brine is pretty messy. You don't want to put it on the animal in a frozen chunk..so a lot will float away because it is thawed. They don't react that fast. I prefer larger pieces, just so it has some mass.

Well i did give it half a FROSEN block of brine... i put it right in the center and it grabbed hold and pulled it in... ate it and looks fine..... BUT i think i will try and get something solid in the future.
