Pink tip

I have a pink tip that has gone into hiding. I know they need strong lighting and water flow. I have both but he has moved in to a very small dark cave in my tank. He has been there for over a week. Does anyone know why he is doing this?
I have a 250gal tank with 2 400wMH at 14K 300lb of live rock and lots of water flow. My water params are as follows.
Nitrate 0
Phosphate 0
PH 8.3
Alk 3 mg/l
Cal 400
Sal 1.023

How long have you had it? It may have come from poor lighting and needs to be acclimated to the lighting you have....The sad part is..if you try to move it you will stress it and it will probably die...all you can do IMO is let it be...keep water excellent, and it will find its spot..

I have had him for about 6 weeks. He has been in hiding for about 3 weeks. I do have alot brighter lighting then where he came from but I thought that should be better as they require very bright light.
