I have a mated pair of locally caught pipes in my 75 FOWLR. They are 3 1/2 inches long, fully mature. They are doing fine, and are never far from each other. Seems to me they would do fine in a 10, without any agressive fish.
yeah WC pipefish (which is most of the pipefish sold) need lots of live foods unless your lucky. Mine eats some frozen foods like small pieces of mysis and cyclops. but he/she mostly eats TONS of pods. some times you can watch him for hours just hunting for pods.
get a mudpuppy instead of a normal salamander. mudpuppies rule! i get alot of people asking for those and there neat to keep aswell.
look up some pics of them.
