I was just thinking of the next fish, invert to put into my tank.
I was thinking a shrimp goby and a pistol shrimp or a 4 line wrasse.
Are pistol shrimp good in a reef tank? Are they aggressive?
With my LMB be mean to the goby?
Are 4 lines ok with 6 lines?
Any info is great
Thanks Jake

He has not caused problems but I just don't trust him. It was given to me and I am kicking around the idea of trading it to the lfs so I can get some cleaners.

I have a pistol shrimp and a yellow watchman goby. At one point I hadn't seen the goby in over a year. I have had both the goby and the pistol shrimp for over 2 years. I have only seen the pistol shrimp once in that time. He has molted several times though. If you have a large tank with lots of rock work chances are you will never see them.

Same here with TSL. I bought my tiger pistol about a month ago to host with my pink spot goby and I've seen it twice. If you have a big tank or deep tank than it's going be tough to see. Also, if you sand is too fine, it can cloud you water when it's building its home. If you have a narrow tank like a 55g with most of the rock work in the back then the goby/pistol will be nice.

My pistol is always coming out into the open and getting food....Most dont though. You cbs should not bother the pistol due to its popping nature....and they are not aggressive...they just sit in their cave and pop from time to timte
