We have a pistol with a yellow watchman. They are good buddies. Very neat to watch. I heard him click mabye twice when the tang got too close to his hole when he was first digging it. The only thing I would recommend, is to be sure your rock is very stable, so that his digging won't disturb anything. The shrimp and goby have their main spot at one end of the tank, but he has burrowed a tunnel along the bottom. Very cool pair
