Hey everyone..are pistol shrimps aggressive..will they catch and eat fish??? I have 2 of them in my reef...and just curios..one of them stays right under a rock in the front of the tank, he is the red and white type..the other is one we found after hurricane charlie went by..he was tiny when we got him , but he is a good 3" long now and has tunnels all over the place...I'm about to move everything to my new 180 gal and was wondering if I should just leave them out!!Oh yeah the big one is the tiger type from what I can tell!! Thanks in advance for all the help!!

Pistol shrimp should be no problem in a reef tank--at least i've had none. Try to get a shrimp gobis to pair up with the pistols.

I've had a pistol shrimp in my 20g for over two years now. Haven't lost a fish or shrimp since adding him. Bo
