I was wondering if it's good for a clam to be in the rocks, for lighting i have 2-175 MH'S and 2-96wt actinics, the clams are currently in the sand, i've seen a lot of people who have them in the rock. If i were to place it in the rock where would be a good area, bottom , or middle, i know the top would be too much light. or should i stay with the sand. thanks

I bumped the dial on my heater while working on the tank and didn't realize until the temp was 99 degrees. I lost 4 medium sized colonies but its funny that those 5 were wild everything aquacultered did fine. I have since decided to do a mix reef sps on the top then lps and softies all over the middle and bottom so far everythink is working out.:D
