Placement of Toadstool Coral

What type of lighting/what size tank? They generally can accept low-moderate light and will stretch up towards the light as they grow.

I think you could pretty much place it anywhere. I'd personally go low to middle.

I would go midway from the start. For me, even with a lot of light my toadstools liked to be UP! I did however start midway and moved up based on the way it looked.

yeah right now its in the middle but since i just got it today the polyps havent really extended yet. Soon hopefully
Let it get used to it's new environment. That is very normal. My latest one took 3 days before the polyps fully extended.

Good idea cause the frogspawn will win that fight.
I think I have a weak frogspawn... I let a leather and some zoas get closed to my spawn and figured they'd just fight it out... well one day I noticed the leather was STUCK to the frogspawn and the zoas had a frogspawn tentacle shoved right into their colony.... the next day they were all out just as normal like nothing had ever happened.

Mine was complete opposite. Any zoas, xenia or mushrooms that touched mine got a good zap and would shrivel up.
