planning a new tank

my wife and I are planning a new tank in the next few months. we already have a 125 with damsels , V puffer, mandarian gobby ,scooter blenny,2 perc clowns ,sicssors gobby,choc chip star,snails and crabs, we are setting it up a bit at a time to get ready for corals and such. Our problem is I want a nigar trigger and she wants a Panther grouper and we both want a cortez ray and a bamboo shark. We are plannig on at least a 220 (posibly even a 300 if I can sucker her into it). I was hoping for some input on your ideas for inhabitants of our agresive tank. sorry no eels the wife is totaly freaked out by them.

well I went today to look at nigar triggers and on place wanted too much another had a white triger the claim is a nigar and the last place had one with a cloudy eye that the guy claimed would get better once I brought it home , that they didn't have time to keep the water quality high in the tanks and thats why its eye was nasty. it couldn't even see out of it . if it had the eye facing the glass it wouldn't even see you moving near the glass then it would see you with the good eye it was off like a shot across the tank.

wouldn't a porc puffer pick on the shark or ray? If we did get a puffer it would most likely be a dog face. My wife just loves them.

well I got our first inhabitant of the new tank. 1 sm niger trigger. he will live in with the damsels for now untill we get the new tank . I will post some picks of him later. they had six in one tank about ten gallons and a lunar wrase in another tank the same size . I wont say which store it was but it rymes with wetsnow.

is it normal for domino damsels to show dominance over the niger? when I turned him loose he went after my clowns and about that time my big domino jumped in the middle and chased the niger off to a corner . It was crazy. :scared: :scared:

haha ya, they are beast, but so cool, they can beat up any fish

here he is hanging out next to his rock theres a small hole through the rock that he is using to hide out in.

I'm so jacked about getting him.

frozen krill and some flake . I might try a scallop next time I'm at the store .
