Ok, down and dirty;
No tangs in a 55.
Anemone will not live with those lights
Fish list is to much for a 55
A reef 55 will need 100-125 lbs. of live rock.
Will only need 1 of those heaters.

A 55 isn't really that big. i had about the same plan as you when i first started.Heres a few problems...
1)blennys-2 algae (only one blenny per tank)
2)tang-tomini, yellow, hippo, or kole (no tang in a 55)
3)eel-1x snowflake (will eat shrimp and maybe small fish)
4)butterfly-1x copperband, auriga, or racoon(usually not reef safe or hardy)
5)dwarf angel-1x coral beauty or lemonpeel(lemons not reef safe)
I'm not being mean i just don't want u to make the mistakes i did. The eel limits you as to what fish/shrimp you can have. if you go without the shrimp and the blenny you should be ok with the eel. IDK if the damsels would get along with clowns either. Also if the tank isn't set up where are the damsels and the eel?

i have them in a temperary 20 gal. that i ve had setup for about 3 months
while i collect money. The eel does limit me i know this as it ate my purple phsydochromis. how about this fish list? also NO SHRIMP....if they will just get eaten.
damsel-1x blue, 1x three line (already have them can't take back)
eel-1x snowflake (already have him don't want to get ride of)
misc.-1x foxface
dwarf angel-1x coral beauty
or
clowns-1x pair true perculas
eel-1x snowflake (already have him don't want to get ride of)
misc.-1x foxface
dwarf angel-1x coral beauty
I could try and see if i could return my damsels. don't know as if it will work or not.
how many watts per gallon will the lighting im getting give me?

ic11337-what are the inhabitants of your 55 gallon? is yours a reef? how is yours setup?
TriGa22-why no foxface?
maybe i should make it into a FOWLR brute tank with maybe a lionfish and small trigger idk yet i would really like to have it a reef with some colorful fish...
what are some colorful fish that can go in a 55 are compatible with a reef and are big enough to not get eaten by my eel?

I have a 55 gallon reef with a HOB CPR bak-pak 2r skimmer and a whisper 40. I have a squareback anthias, a PJ cardinal, a pair of false percs, and just added my last fish. (a flasher wrasse) Here is a stocking list i'd suggest,
1) SFE
2) CB angel
3) 2 pink skunk clowns (bigger than percs but still peacefull)

i just called the fish store and they said they dont take back fish unless they were purchased a month before (they use most fish for cycling and then get them back). I've had my damsels for a year so I can't return them. Can the skunk clowns hold their own against the semi-aggressive damsels? I think if I add the damsels last the others will have their own territory and the damsels won't so they won't be as arressive. Do you have any pics of your tank ci11337? would love to see some. What type of lighting do you have? do you have some sort of aim or instant messanger so it will be easyier to talk to one another?

IDK about damsels vs. clowns, is there another LFS you could try? Maybe you could keep your damsels in the 20 permenatly? I have the same lights as you. i'm actually in the procces of getting AIM but some server is down or something. Heres some pics...

Why I said no foxface. Is becuase it could leave you room for blenys and gobys and other bright beautiful fish.. I dont think foxfaces are a very colorful fish. IMO

I wouldn't say a squareback would put you overboard but youd definatly be at your max. There are other types of anthias that are a bit smaller than the squarebacks that you could consider. Also, anthias require frequent feedings, (3xday) and they need a stable aquarium so if you get one put it in last.
