I was looking into adding some form of caulerpas to my display tank? Anyone have any good species I should look into. Anybody got any pics?

I generally don't think people do this, though there may be a few out there. They can really take over a main tank. The concept of the 'planted tank", IMO, is a freshwater thing. People sometimes keep slower growing macros in their displays, but not necessarily this genus, which can grow quite rapidly (making it difficult to trim out). But that is just my experience....

With the experience I have had by adding grape caluerpa to my display, I would have to say not to do it. What started off as a small peice of macro has now turned into a green monster that is impossible to stop. If I were to add any macro's to my display, it would be halimeda, it seems that it is easy to trim and looks pretty cool IMO. But that is just me, hopefully you will get some more input. my LFS has a pimped out display with a ---- load of caulerpa in it. It looks cool, but what if it turns asexual and releases its "grapes"? When this happens, and it will happen, my sump gets cloudy and crap floating around everywhere. IMO, not worth the headache, enough maintance as is!

I tried it in my 30 gallon tank as an experiment.
It slowly turned into a headache / mess.
It grew fast and looked pretty cool for awhile - but talk about a pain to keep in check.
