Does anyone have Shaving Brushes? I did a search first and didnt answer my questions. They get planted in the sand? Any fish eat them? Do they last and grow all over? Any one have experience?I would like a little info before I get them. Thanks

i have seen them planted in the sand at my lfs before. othere than that i dont know sure would like to though.

I have about a dozen of them spread out in my 90 fowlr.
They get planted in the sand, and they look great swaying in the current. They will accumulate brown algae like rock, so if you have some inverts in there that eat it, they'll stay in great shape. I have a few large snails in there, and often they're perched on the shaving brushes. Recommend them.
