Plastic Flamingos

i was thinking about plastic flamingos today.

in my mind, theyre such an iconic symbol of trashyness, sort of like a trailer. i thought that this was the same for everyone. like, plastic flamingo in yard = trashy. but then it occurred to me, if everyone thought that plastic flamingos were trashy, you wouldnt see nearly as many of them, because no one would have them in their yards. so someone must like them, right? i mean, yeah im pretty sure that people that have 4 broken down pick up trucks, a toilet, a fridge, and a sofa parked on their yard know that its trashy, but still they do it. so are people just embracing (or ignoring) the trashyness of their plastic flamingos or do they really just not see it? or am i judging them (the flamingos) too harshly? i mean, even i think theyre kinda cool, in a sort of ironic way. but id have one in my room, not on my lawn.
discuss.

That's deep. If you believed 2+2 equaled 5, would it?
That would be a cool thing to have in a room
What is your position on gnomes?

it's all individual perspective I guess.
when I see someone wearing their pants below their behinds or wearing gold teeth, I see them as thugs.
when I see a 5'4, 300 pound woman wearing a belly shirt, I think she's gone too far towards the other end of the spectrum as far as "self esteem" is concerned.
when I see somebody wearing a mullet and a Molly Hatchet t-shirt, I get the idea that they don't know what year it is.
when I see somebody wearing sunglasses indoors, or talking on a cellphone in a restaurant, or turning without using a turn signal, I think they deserve to have their skulls crushed in.
and I could go on. and I know I'm not the only one that feels the same way about such things. but still, they do it.

I would never feel the need to crush a blind man's skull in

Plastic flaminogs are cool but should they or should they not have the wings that twirl in the wind?
What is the deal with lawn jockeys and which is better to have in your front yard?

Why is it only "white" trash?
Yes they are tacky except the ones in the picture I like for some reason --- not all faded and surrounded by foot high grass.

That company that makes those is pretty close to out of business from what I understand. (They may already be, that was a few months ago that I read that) so you may be in luck. Personally, having seen the real ones, I'm not a big fan of flamingos. They are dirty nasty birds. (but I guess what bird isn't.)
