When its tentacles are out simply shoot some mysis on to them. The mysis should stick and the plate will pull them into its mouth. Nothing really high tech about it. Some people might tell you to give a larger piece( like krill) but whatever it cannot digest in a certain period of time it will just reguritate so I always say feed smaller size foods.

Exactly what I use, mysis shrimp, sometimes I also place a little cyclopeeze in with the mix.

Mine lives "off the land" so to speak. I have had it going on 4 years and at first I always tried feeding it, but the shrimp would steal the food unless I stood there for 30 minutes beating them away. Now, it's on it's own and doing just fine with whatever it nabs during the night etc.

mine eats bits of tuna whenever i make a sandwich... just put a pinch into his tentacles, it sticks and he swallows it.
