Plate coral looks like a balloon why?

The tenticals are about half it's normal size and the body of it is like a balloon. Water perameters seem fine. He has been in my tank for about 4 months now but never seen him like this. Any ideas?

Just noticed my Conch is beside him. Could this be a defense mec. they use?

Sounds like it is defending it self, is there any slime being put out?

Yes very little. The Conch is now away but he is still the same size. Take some time?

if hes unhappy where he is, he will inflate and start to wiggle and try a find a new spot where hes happy. is he on the sand bed?

Yes he is but maybe to close to the LR or water movement maybe? He'll move on his own right?

My plate coral balloons up after a meal and sometimes at night. How often do you feed yours?

once a week with brine shrimp. Sometimes twice a week. What do you feed yours, and how often? He's back down now, but he was pretty bloated.

You need to feed them 2-3 times a week with fresh food. I use stuff from the grocery store like fish, shrimp, squid, etc.. He may be bloated because hes moving around, looking for food. These guys needs tons of feeding. I'd even do a little every night if you have time.
Just place a very small piece on the oral disk.
