I don't need to imagine...I've lived in So Cal, Detroit, Atlanta as well as traveled through about a dozen other major cities across the country. The thing that makes Corpus bad is that this little towns streets weren't built for how much it has grown, and people down here have no idea what a gas peddle is. I remember Atlanta well, definately one of thee worst cities for traffic...especially when nascar came to town.

Justice suing us over 1070 is just ridiculous. It doesn't preempt Federal law, it compliments it. Now "sanctuary cities" are a direct preemption of Federal law and in direct conflict with it. I am now firmly on the anti-Obama wagon. He really is as corrupt as the Republicans have been saying.

The only thing that really ticks me off, is the people who stop on the frontage road of SPID to yeild to the exiting traffic, especially in the all the way right lane...
The horrendous traffic in corpus means waiting for a couple lights while going to academy. I can handle that... Or trying to get downtown on the night of the fourth of July.

Yeah or trying to get to the beach on a holiday weekend. Not saying it's the worst I've ever been in. Just trying to imagine how nice it would be if we got all of the illegals off the streets.

Spring Break... that's the only time Corpus sees traffic... that and when they are trying to vacate for a hurricane.
Man I miss Corpus. I wonder if it'll ever stop feeling like home....

I didn't know that 4% of the population was comprised of illegal immigrants.

I think that experts estimate that 3-4% of the population is comprised of illegal immigrants. I don't have a clue how they got their numbers, I doubt it's accurate, and I may not be remembering those numbers correctly.
That percentage would put us around what...9-11 million illegal immigrants. Meaning that about a fourth to a third of immigrants in the US are illegal.
