being that the clown trigger is the smallest of the group and the tank is so big, i say you should be okay. My dad added a 4-5" CT to his aggressive 300 gallon and it ate both the 5" diamond goby, and the 3" 6line wrasse
. These were the smallest fish in his tank at the time and it appears as if the clown trigger will eat just about anything it can fit into its mouth or take a few bites of to consume entirely
He didn't (still doesn't) bother the tangs, puffer, other trigger, 5" adult percs, or the ray. :happyfish

yeah plus i plan on keeping them all very well fed, i heard a big enough tank and plenty of food are the key to minimizing ct aggression. i would never keep one with a goby or six line LOL sorry to hear that. i heard you couldn't keep a ray with triggers though.. ?

i have no clue as too that one, but when i visit everything seems fine, and the ray was in the tank with the clowns, wrasse, and goby before he added the tangs, puffer and trigger. Oh and ALL the snails + hermits vanished
I like to show up with live feeders and treat myself to a 5 minute show

i would definetely not keep the angels together, just cuz its a bad idea in general and often results in wastes of money. and IMO i would keep clown triggers in tanks by themselves. the crosshatch.... eh, he can stay, id watch it tho just cuz even the considered "reef safe" triggers can snap like all triggers. uve got tangs of different genuses so thats good. otherwise it all looks good

sharkboy, thanks for the input. 4 maybe a bit much even for such a large tank, i'm going to try 3 of varying sizes. regarding the clown, it seems they are hit and miss, i've seen huge clowns that bother nothing and i've seen small ones that are terrors. hopefully being the smallest in the tank, introduced last, given plenty of room and fed alot he won't be so bad *crosses fingers*
this is my new list
8" xmas island imperator angel
5" blue face angel
4" asfur angel
3" blue tang
5" yellow tang
4" sohal tang
4" dussumieri tang
4" desjardini tang
5" vlamingii tang
4" harlequin tusk
4" klipingers wrasse
3" clown trigger
7" dogface puffer
