Please Help...are my corals and inverts dying?

i am having some kind of funky problem in my tank.
i recently replaced my pump in my tank, as well as changed my lines from normal flex tubing to pvc, and a few days after i did that, is when i started noticing things going wrong.
i have lost 1 pulsating xenia (sp?) coral, about 10 snails, and all my other corals, anenomes, and starfish just dont look right. the anenomes are all sucked up inside themselves like they sometimes do at night, my mushroom corals that are usually healthy looking and raised above the rock are now flat against the rock, my blue linkia looks like hes hollow inside or something, and my star polyps are barely sticking out of the rock. also, my sea cucumber looked like he shed its skin as well, never seen that before.
all my water tests are fine, i even took them to the lfs for a double check, my water is "perfect" according to them. the pump i bought is alot more powerful than the old one i had, but i put an adjustment valve in the line and turned it down so that it was like my old one. nothing else has been changed. i cleaned the pvc as good as i could get it, so i am out of ideas. could it be that everything is just not used to the stronger flow of water or something?
my tank is a 55 gallon, i am using a wet/dry and am running a protein skimmer. please help, are my corals and inverts dying?

ok, ill put him in a separate tank, i forgot to add that all my fish are fine. if i take him out, should i do a water change or will the water just gradually get better?

id run some carbon immediately. Get a mesh bag load some carbon in it and put in a high flow area. Make sure you rinse the carbon off 1st.
Use any copper medications??
