Please help asap this is so frustrating!!!

My black and white clowns have now laid eggs 3 times. As a matter of fact they are doing it not. But as soon as the female lays one egg either she or the male whips around and eats it!!!! WHY WONT THEY STOP?????? Its so upsetting. I just want to take a turkey baster and suck one out everytime she lays one before they eat it? What can I do to make them stop???? Why are they doing it? Please help!

The eggs could be dead on arrival. The clowns are usually good at taking initial care of the eggs and eat the dead ones. The first few batches tend to be testers.
Make sure you are feeding your clowns well to maximize the quality of the eggs.

You can't make them stop, and if you aren't trying to breed them in their own dedicated tank with nothing else it it, and are ready to dedicate a lot of time, I wouldn't worry about it because they will never survive anyways and the longer the live the more attached you will get to them.

so even though they are in a tank with other non agressive fish they will continue to eat their eggs? I have another small tank set up and food for the babies as well. So ive been prepared not them lol
