I bought i 240 HAD A GOOD DEAL ON IT KNOW IM thinking it wasnt such a good ideal right know because ive had to do alot of work on it but i finally got in in my front room and relized that the corner of the arcylic post inside is shattered

WELL MY ? IS HOW DO I
REPARE THE CORNERS IF THERE WEAK THE ACRYLIC POST IN THE CORNER IS
SHATERED AND I WAS WONDERING IF SCLICON WOULD WORK TO FIX THIS ????? please help
FIRST OF ALL I HAD TO TAKE OFF ALL THIS NASTY BLUE PAINT ON THE SIDES AND BACK

THEN I PAINTED THE BACK OF THE TANK BLACK WITCH TURNED OUT REALLY GOOD.BUILT A NEW STAND AND CANOPY,BECAUSE I WAS GETTING MY HARD WOOD FLOORS DONE SO I COULD STAIN IT TO MATCH MY FLOOR WITCH ALSO TURNED OUT AWSOME.BUT THEN THIS IM JUST SO UPSET I WAS IN TEARS WHY MY BROTHER WAS TRYING TO FIX THE SIDE OF THE TANK WITH SILICON BUT IM NOT SO SURE OF THAT SO I WAS WONDERING WITH OUT HAVING TO HAVE A FLOOD IN MY FRONT ROOM DOES ANYONE THINK IS WOULD WORK OR SHOULD I HAVE SOMEONE COME IN TO FIX IT?????

Can we ask for a clean shot of the damage? in large reefs the tank itself is often cheap compared to the livestock load. If its bad enough to ponder about a headache, I would vote to ditch it. But would reserve that comment until I saw a pic of the damage

i dont know what the peice is called put its a little poll inside of corner thats pretty well shattered, heres a picture of new stand and canopy
