Please help me ID this thing!!

If anyone has any idea what the heck this is, I'd appriciate you're feedback!! Is it bad?? I'm talking about the black crazy looking work 'thing' that has a silk like material coming out of him spreading to the rock across the way. It's right smack in the middle of the pics!!

I believe it's known as a vermitid snail..it uses those thin filamentous threadlike things to pull up food.It is a harmelss detritus feeder,.but their tube is pretty hard and sharp,so be careful when working in your tank near it.
