PLEASE HELP QUICK! Anemone sucked into filter!

My anemone somehow got into my filter while I was gone today. It is still alive right now. It pinched off some of its tentacles (idk what they are called). My questions are:
Will it grow back? What are its chances of surviving?
Also, little pieces of his tentacle(or whatever you call them) are in the tank. I could not get them all out! Is this gonna hurt anything? and I had to change my filter cartridge, is this going to effect my tank now?
sorry i've only been in this hobby a short period of time!

My anemone got stuck in 2 different filters within 48 hours to the point of no return.
He bounced right back within a few hours and was just fine.
Keep an eye on him so that if he dies he does not polute your tank.
Sorry bout that

If it looks fine right now and the foot is OK, it will probably be OK. Run some carbon for the next few days to clean up anything undesirable in the tank. Chopped up anemone's can release toxins. Get sopme gaurds around the filter inlets so it cant happen again. Yopu can make some nice gaurds out of needle work screening from the craft section at wally world and small tye wraps, for like 2 bucks.

what about the little pieces of him that are in the tank?
There are just a few, but I dont want it to mess everything up.

I didn't see the previous post before I asked the question about the small pieces. There are like 4 tiny ones i just cant grab! I hope its ok.
and I guess his "feet" are okay. I mean they def look pinched off but are closed up.
How long does it take to grow back??
I'm so worried. He was hugee and very pretty.

FOOT, the base which it attaches to the rocks etc. as well as moves around with....Not tentacles./ If the foot is damaged it is most likely a goner.
If its just damaged tentacles, no worries. Those laying there shouldn't be a problem, run the carbon. What size tank is this? How much rock and flow? Do a 20% water change also.

The Foot is okay then. Its attached to a rock after I got it out of the filter.
It was just the tentacles, I hope. Even if it got a piece of the foot will it be ok? I cant really tell.
how long does it take for the tentacles to grow back?
and a 20 gal,and i already did the water change.

Some will grow back faster than others just be patient, is it deflated? if it is just keep an eye on the foot if it starts to turn a chalky white and falling apart it's dying, you will notice this in the next few days, otherwise you'll be ok.

No, it wasn't deflated. It was normal, besides the fact that the tentacles were sliced in half. The foot looks good. This morning he was kinda sucking himself in (like he normally does) only this time there was a little something in the middle. I don't know what it is =/
