Please help quick

[hr]
I just purchased a long tenacle anemone and was wondering if it was normal for it to sort of wilt after first being introduced to the tank? It also opened its mouth and I was under the assumtion that this wasn't good. Can you please tell me how to get them to anchor to the sand as well. Your input would be greatly appreciated. This is my first anemone.

No, I turned the lights on for a little bit and it opened up nicely. It appears that it has grounded itself in the sand. Maybe I am just getting worked up about it. I just don't want it to die and kill everything else in my tank. Could you please tell me what to look for so that doesn't happen. Maybe some tale signs that my tank is headed towards a crash.

When an anemone looses it`s grip and starts to melt away are the signs that it is dead . How old is your tank ? What lighting do you have ? Water parameters ?
