Please Help With my Eclipse Sysyem

I have a 24 by 12.5 inch elipse hood... I would really like a protein skimmer, but I am not sure how to fit one. There looks like there may be some room for a hang-on with my hood, if I cut it. Any advice?

you would have to end up cutting- i would get a regular hood- so you can have a skimmer and a better filter

Is it easy to change the hood? I have a 24 gal arlilic tank ClearLife. 24 by 12.5 in.

I have the same problem. In the back right corner of the hood there is a bar of plastic. It just sits there, you can cut that out and put a skimmer there.

is there a intank skimmer where you just submurge it into the water opposed to cutting the hood up?

No, the BakPak was added on the side. I had to cut the hood, but there seems to be no damage. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
