Hi guys,
When I fed me fish today, I turned off the power head for a while and I saw something. they are under the sand base. They didn't show up their whole body I think, so I can't picture them. But I saw their coming out part of their body which is black on the top, like a head, and the bottom is fleshcolor. On the black head, there are some tentacles. It's very disgusting

I think it's a kind of worms. But I don't know it's harmful for my corals and fish or not.
Any idea about it?
Thank you very much.

Without a picture it's very dangerous to guess, but I'd say for you to look up bristle worms considering you said it came out of the sand. I have a pinkish/orange fleshy colored bristle worm that looks like this, but doesnt have a black head.
Maybe someone else can ring in here, but that'd be my best guess without a picture.

It's too hard to get a picture. They just show a second for a while and in most of time, I just can see the sand is up and down. I don't think the bristle worms can make the sand up and down.
I am so worried about it.

To be honest it sounds like a bristle worm...they are two toned and red can look black under the right light..and if it is near the surface it can make the sand go up and down.

I must conticue this topic, because I see the worm again. I am sure it's not the bristle worm!!
It's black and white(or black and blue). When it find food, some tentacles will come out from its mouth. So disgusting!!! And it's not a small worm. I just saw part of it, about 2-3 inches.
I need your help badly~~!!!~
