thats it a Merulina coral. it looked like that when i got it. i had it in mid tank when it started turning more red so i thought it was getting to much light. So i lowered it. but site says it needs lots of light so i'll try moving it up and see if that helps it. Any idea what's happening to it? What i need to do to help it?

My first thought too. I watch my lfs kill a brain coral and that's what it turned into.

It needs alot of flow for one, and high lighting. Numbers look ok, but the CA could come down a bit, you are teetering on the edge with those high values for Alk & CA. Do you know what your reading is for Mg? I run my alk at 4.00, but with Ca at 450, Mg at 1350.

No i need to get a mg test kit. I've been lowering my dosage. I use b-ionics.
I don't see any chunks on it. Looks more like the skin is just falling off of it.
