Thanks. Do you know why only one side is (I dont know how to explain it)is coming out of the hard coral ?

Other side looks dead to me. Was it out at LFS? if so maybe just give it time or maybe it is too close to coral in background.

Yeah, it does look sort of dead. But, if it isn't, like lobstergrabber stated, maybe that xenia behind it is bothering that half.

If nothing is touching it and it has a little space I would quit moving it around. It could actually stress it out more by moving it around too much than by having it in a less than desireable spot. Just give it some time.

The reason I moved it was I didnt have a steady place for it to sit.Maybe its stressed. It was falling over for a couple of days untill I put epoxy on it and stuck it to the LR.I see a couple little polyps coming out of yhat side,so hopefully just stress. Thanks for the help,I will leave it alone.

try it in the mid part of the reef for a week. it may be the peice they will only live about a year in a tank and are very hard to keep happy also try iodine at about 3 pm add 1 ml with pipett 3" from top of coral

No problem on the help. I hope it comes back for you. HTey are a beautiful coral.
Joe I think the coral you are referring to is a goniapora. they look very similar but the goniapora has 24 petals on the polyps instead of 12 like on the alveapora.
