Hello Im Seting Up My 72 Gallon Saltware Tank Im Adding The Salt Now ....do I Just Throw The Whole Bag In? Its A 55gallon Bag And I Have A 25 Gallon Bag . And Just Measure The 25 Gallon Bag

a 55 gallon bag?? who makes that?? i have seen bags that make up to 50 gallons before..
if it is enough salt to make 55 gallons, then yes, just throw it in... if it is a 55lbs bag, that is different.. but yes u can do it that way if that is what u mean,...

But remember in the future you can't add salt directly to the tank, once you have livestock in it. I would err on the side of caution and add a little less than you think you'll need, check your salinity, and add more if you need to. That is easier than having to syphon some water back out because the salinity is too high.

Ok Thanks For The Info Im About To Go Finish Up..............any Suggestions..........oh Yeah The Guy At The Petshop Told Me Its Better To Add The Live Sand After I Get The Salt Level Good

its good to put live rock in, then put the sand in around it, so that the rock is touching the bottom and no thing is going to burrow under it and get smooshed!

Remember to add the salt mix for how many gallons of water in your tank and not the size of your tank. Live Rock, sand etc reduces the amount of gallons in your tank.
