Reverse Osmosis water. (the fancy drinking water they sell for about a $1 a gallon)
Edit: What type of water did you start your tank with? It should have been this kind.

Reduce the SG slowly.
Think of it as reacclimating your entire tank.
For perspective, my tank stays at 1.025 or so. You are .007 above me. Please don't panic.
What size tank?

didn't follow you...
What I'm saying is, instead of using saltwater for a water change, use RO (fresh water) in small amounts to drop the salt down.
Two questions for you: 1. What type of water are you using to fill the tank after the water evaporates? 2. What kind of instrument are you using to check salinity?

First and foremost, if you are using a hydrometer, test again. Once the hydrometer is full, take it out and TAP the back of the hydrometer several times, in case air bubbles are causing the reading to be incorrect.
Is your tank fresh or saltwater?
If it is saltwater, the next question is, is your water level at the top of the tank or do you have room to add water to the tank?

That's okay.
You just changed about 10% of your water. It's slightly more than I would have suggested. But don't do anything further for the time being.
Testing it immediately will not give a true reading. You will need to give it time. Test again in 4 hours or so. Let the tank circulate.
I'm no expert but I'll check back.
