I would like to see some pics of your refugiums that have skimmers in them store bought, homemade, or other, so I can get some ideas for my 72 gallon bow.

Those both look like what I'm trying to accomplish, and I bet you save tons by building your own. Not to mention customizing it to fit the components you want to use. Any suggestions on anything I should be aware of before I start, or how you planned your sumps? Anything you would do different now that they are up and running?

Plan ahead as to what skimmer you will put in your sump. If your sump is kinda small and the skimmer is kind of big you need to plan accordingly.

I want to build a similar fuge msyelf. Please tell me what glue you used and where I can buy one. I bought one from Virgil's in my area, and it says it's safe for fishtanks, but only mentions glass tanks. Mine is acrylic.
Thanks

Well i just had to take a pic since i got a new comp, I used a 20 gal tall for the sump with an ASM G-2 Skimmer, and then i have a seprate 10 gallon fuge. I also have a 72 gal bow front. The set up works well. Just got the tank a little over a month ago or so. It works well for me. Let me know if you have any questions on it. littlebuck70 at yahoo dot com

Ya, the 72 gallon bow's stand won't fit a 13 inch deep sump from front to back, so it limits the tank i can fit under there, also I like the idea of buying those kits that you can add to a tank to build your own sump/ref. I think i will go with an Aquac ev 120 or a Reef devil skimmer, and add the light and return, etc. Since I dont have a lot of space under my tank, I would like to have everything self contained inside of the unit. Thanks again everyone for your pics!!!
