I doubt that you will have the patients to raise clowns. I have noticed that you have 3 threads on the same topic all within six hours. You also hijacked another thread trying to get people to view yours. Slow down.. Not everyone sits on these boards 24/7. Especially in the middle of the night. I did post in one of your other threads the best advice that I have. Good luck, but please be a little more patient.

kydizzle41, get the book "clownfishes" by Joyce D Wilkerson. once you do, all your questions will be answered.
+1 on patience. I am setting up my tank as a breeding tank for clowns, and i am well aware that it is going to take AGES
after you have your breeding tank set up and cycled, with a good anemone, with excellent lighting, PERFECT tank parameters, (about 2 months time of just waiting time, by the way, before getting the clowns in the tank) and i mean perfect parameters, the anemone needs to be real happy, and (as you may know) anemones are picky, and need to be in a well established tank. then you need to get the clowns. the female needs to be 2.5+ years old, which unless you buy a tried and true mated pair, or have had one for that long, it may be difficult. once you get the pair IN the tank, they are going to need to get comfertable before they get jiggy with it. there are so many more things that take so much time that ive left out too.
You can breed them in a community tank, so if you dont want to set up a breeding tank, then you can do it in your 60g, and once the eggs are laid on the rock or stone the male will protect them with his life. but like i said, they need to be in a well established tank, and have a nice anemone (they wont do it without an anemone by the way)
raising the fry is a WHOLE other story and will require you to get another tank set up and cycled, and believe me, its gonna be a pain.
suffice to say bro, its not something that can be done easily or on the fly, it needs to be something that you work for, patiently, for a loooooooong time. take a good long think about if you want to proceed. and if you do, go buy that book, Clownfishes, by Joyce D Wilkerson, and take another couple of weeks to just study it.

I have heard /seen females spawn as early as 18 months, and males at under a year
after you have your breeding tank set up and cycled, with a good anemone,
They dont need an anemone to spawn. and without an anemone, the lighting isnt as important either
with excellent lighting, PERFECT tank parameters, (about 2 months time of just waiting time, by the way, before getting the clowns in the tank) and i mean perfect parameters, the anemone needs to be real happy, and (as you may know) anemones are picky, and need to be in a well established tank. then you need to get the clowns. the female needs to be 2.5+ years old, which unless you buy a tried and true mated pair, or have had one for that long, it may be difficult. once you get the pair IN the tank, they are going to need to get comfertable before they get jiggy with it. there are so many more things that take so much time that ive left out too.

Again, the anemone is not needed. In fact, most breeders prefer not having an anemone
raising the fry is a WHOLE other story and will require you to get another tank set up and cycled, and believe me, its gonna be a pain.
If they spawn on a tile, its really very easy to set up a hatching/grow out tank. It doesnt need to be cycled because you will not be using any filtration for the first 20-30 days anyway. A simple 5 gallon tank filled with water from the parent tank the night of the expected hatch.. a heater,, an airstone/air pump, and a simple light will be all that you will need.
