Can someone tell me the equation as to figure out how much sand and live rock I need to place in my aquarium? Thanks!!

Rule of thumb on the rock is 1.5lbs per gallon.
Sand varies depending on what you want to acheive - for a 3-4" DSB in a rectangle tank approx 2lbs per gallon.
