ok you guys here it goes...if i were to get i piece or rock "coral" with star polyps and i put a nice peice or liverock next to it will the polyps move over to the uninhabited rock...how long does it take?? do the same rules apply with mushrooms........or can you cut them down the middle and rubber band them to andother host (mushrooms)

In the proper conditions the polys would likely spread to the neighboring rock...thats what I do with several types of polyps I have...then when the new rocks have growth I remove them and take them back to my favorite LFS for purchase credits....great way to suppliment new additions.
