hi,i have these in my fw tank...someone told my hubby we can put them in the sw tank for algie control...i dont want to hurt them in any way so i told him i needed advice from all of you who answers...they are pretty big...

I think the only fw fish you can do that with is a molly. I might be wrong though. Good Luck!

I agree with Baron. I don't think the Pleco will acclimate well and that there are much better algae eaters available for the SW tank. Try snails, hermit crabs and even some tangs to pick at some of the algae.
