Plumbing Help on Rio6HF on BioCube 29

So I bought a Rio6HF based on recommendations from this forum and others by people with a BioCube29. However, when I opened it up I quickly realized the plumbing in the tank does not allow me to use it out of the box.
So my question is whats the best way to setup the new pump. Should I
1. Buy some adapter to take the stock tubing that came with the BC and allow it to connect to the Rio pump?
Or...
2. Buy a new piece of tubing, and some adapter to attach to the existing wall fixture in chamber 3.
Or..
3. Something else completely.
I am not sure what the best course of action is. I am also looking to add a Y on the tank side of chamber 3 to allow more flow control.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated, as I have looked around for the obvious simple solution and just can't seem to find the part.

I bought a used BC29 and it was already modified with a Rio 6 HF. It has an elbow with the same dia. as the Rio. It also came with a Hydor Rotating Water Deflector so I do not know if the elbow came with that. All they did was to attach the Rio to the elbow with tubing. WORD OF CAUTION, make sure you zip tie or clamp the tube to the pump and elbow, I had the tubing blow off the elbow; it turned into a fountain and pumped out about five gallons before water stopped entering the rear chambers. It must have happened about five minutes before I got home from work because the water was still warm to the touch.
My BC29 also has the modified wall between Chamber 1&2 for more flow. Hope this helps some.

Thanks.
It helps to get an idea. I will have to find a 90 degree elbow that fits and then zip tie as you say. I already had that when i reached my hand in with the default pump, knocked it and got a face full of water.
