plumbing options

i posted a few questions in the DIY section, but i've come up with a few more ?'s and figured i'd give this forum a shot for the answers.
I'm drilling my 125, and i was going to do a center 1500 gph overflow from glass-holes in the center, with corner returns, but it would make my plumbing easier (both drain and returns) if i put dual 700 gph overflows in the corners with the return in the center. i also figure the flow, with some korillas, would be better with more currents.
i'm drilling my return, by the way. i've seen things that pre-drilled tanks use to direct flow in the tank. they are black, flexible tubes, that have pieces that connect to the end. is this what loc-lines are? if so, is there one that goes from one drilled hole, and y's off to direct the flow into two directions, or should i drill two holes and y both of them off so there's 4 different directions? thanks for your help.

yes those are loc lines. you can drill one hole and make it go in 2 directions, like a "y". they attach to standard threaded bulkheads, so that wont be a problem for you.

btw, if they are in the "y" format, each outlet on one locline has half the gph of the total flow going through the locline. hope im not confusing you
