plumbing sealer?

im putting together the PVC plumbing for my sump setup. what do you guys use to seal unthreaded PVC joints? thanks.

Just regular PVC primer and glue.

no glue on threads.......
teflon tape is the ticket, they also have teflon pipe dope but the tape is not as messy......
make sure you put the tape on the right way or it won't seal well

Plus 1 Put the tape on in a clockwise rotation (for right handed threads ) and don’t over do the amount of tape you use
