What is the best type of plumming to use, Overflow or Close loop?
kzoo Member Feb 28, 2007 #2 Both work, close loop you need to have a way to filter the water so you need to run a skimmer in line or on tank. With overflow you can make things look alot cleaner by putting everything in the sump. I have seen people run both on a tank for flow.
